HTML Script Files

A website may be composed of multiple web pages. Parsing scripts can be defined for each unique named page on a site and organized in an HTML Script File. While each page on a site must be uniquely named, page names on different sites can be named the same (as virtually every website has an identically named page titled index.html) and there is no confusion by identifying scripts by the site:page combination. There is no need to load every HTML script every time the program is run. The preferences identifies an HTML Script Files list, and HTML Script Files set to be loaded on startup can be enumerated. The HTML Script Files panel permits the user to select a set of available HTML script files to be be loaded. The user is permitted to add or delete from the set at any time, and re-load the altered HTML Script File set.

HTML Script Files controls

• Save
  Save the HTML script file set in the HTML folder. If there is no profile currently active, these are saved as an html script file set with the name default. If there is a profile currently active, these are saved as an HTML script file set with the name of the currently active profile.
• Load
  Load the HTML script file set from the HTML folder. If there is no profile currently active, these are loaded from an html script file set with the name default. If there is a profile currently active, these are loaded from an HTML script file set with the name of the currently active profile. Previous loaded HTML script lists in the HTML Script Tree are cleared and rebuilt by reparsing the HTML Script Files defined in the HTML script file set.
• Up
  HTML script files are parsed sequentially in the order they appear in the HTML script file set. A selected HTML script file may be moved up in the set.
• Down
  HTML script files are parsed sequentially in the order they appear in the HTML script file set. A selected HTML script file may be moved down in the set.
• Delete
  A selected HTML script file may be deleted from the HTML script file set.
• Refresh Available HTML Script Files
  The next control ("Select from Available HTML Script Files") contains a list of available HTML script files built when the program is started. If a new HTML script file has been added to the HTML directory, the list of available HTML ScriptFiles can be refreshed.
• Select from Available HTML Script Files
  All HTML script files available in the HTML directory are shown in the drop-down list for selection.
• Add
  Adds the selected HTML script file from the "Select from Available HTML Script Files" drop-down to the HTML script file set.
