Set


The Set script command sends an snmp Set request to the current IP variable, according to the current variables on the SNMP Fetch panel (IP, Timeout, SNMP Ver, Community String, Object / Suffix / Value list).

Syntax: Set Comment
Example: Set SNMP Set the currently selected IP, Ver, Community String, OID list, with currently selected timeout


Associated command may be bound to Set to set any or all current choices

Example: Assign IP = 192.168.2.252 Associated command to set IP destination
Assign Timeout = 5 Associated command to set Timeout
Assign CommunityString = public Associated command to set CommunityString
Assign SNMPVersion = v2c Associated command to set SNMP Version

Clear OIDs and Add OID associated commands may also be bound to define a new OID / Value list

Example: Clear OIDs Associated command to clear OID / Value list
Add OID sysContact 0 "info@comroestudios.com" add name & new value for MIB-II sysContact
Add OID sysName 0 "ScanEngine Explorer" add name & new value for MIB-II sysName
Set SNMP Fetch for the OIDs in the list
